British-born, Paul Horak grew up in Africa. After moving to New Zealand in 1998 he started an IT company and grew it into a regional ISP which he sold in 2016. Paul's love of Africa led him to start Amatis with an exceptional team of young talent based in Kenya.
Eugene Balla
Eugene Balla is our General Manager in Kenya. His background before joining us was in quality control. He lives in Nairobi with his young family, plays volleyball and supports Arsenal football club.
Beryl Oketch
Beryl Oketch heads up our creative team in Nairobi. With a background in graphic design, she has visual flair and a keen eye for detail. She is incredibly organised and keeps the rest of us on track with our timeframes.
Angela Howard
Angela Howard is a New Zealand native whose writing skills are to the fore at Amatis. She can turn her hand to almost any subject and style. She also loves to analyse content, to understand what works and what doesn't, and is our resident SEO expert.
